Much blood was spilled, many lives were lost and so many innocent families have had their loved ones stripped away from them. The war had gone on for long enough. So long that neither side knew what they were fighting for. Some of the elders were against the treaty the kings of the two tribes agreed to. An eye for an eye as the old saying goes. “They took one of ours, so we shouldn’t stop until every last one of them is extinct.” While the younger generation was opposed to the war “What the hell are we even fighting for?” they often asked. Though now it’s all over. Everyone can live without the fear of senseless violence. But with so much death will there ever be true peace?
