In the classic graphic novel “Watchman”, Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons used the iconic yellow smiley face to represent the fascism they saw in American society. In New York City today, the MTA has used those same iconic smiley faced images to create a collection of deeply fascist advertisements for the City’s mask mandate in subways. Using subway graffiti as inspiration, a new artist named J. Bae has created this collection of NFT artwork entitled “Mandates=Fascism”, which are 1st Amendment protected parodies of the MTA's fascist ads. 10,000 prints will be included in J. Bae’s “Mandates=Fascism” and are waiting to be minted into new NFTs. This first batch will decide whether the majority of them will be offered here or on other blockchains. So, get these NFTs while you can, they will not last long and each round of newly minted NFTs will increase in price.
