Amaru (in the Quechua language "snake") was a symbol of wisdom, It is a deity that is related to the economy of the waters, it symbolizes the water that runs through the irrigation canals, rivers and springs and that makes it possible for the seeds of the crop to be transformed into vegetables. Everything that makes up life is written on the snake scales of the Amaru. In Cusco, the Amaru represents the communicator of heaven and earth, passing from one world to another as a medium of the Inca gods.
