It is nighttime and Baby Fox is so tired and falls asleep in his Mama's arms. She will hold him throughout the night so he won't ever feel alone. If he has a bad dream she will be there for him. Mama and Baby Fox are sleeping in a field of colorful flowers, illuminated by the moonlight. Mama's tail wraps around her baby to keep him warm and snuggly. She enjoys the moment of peace and quiet before falling asleep herself. This painting was done in gouache and was inspired by the many nights I spent co-sleeping with my baby son. The style is Kawaii and Cute!! :)
