The Light Versus Dark collection is a visual representation of the polarities in our lives: The balance between black and white, negative and positive, lack and abundance. One cannot exist without the other and we can’t appreciate one without its counterpart. Without the night, we could see no stars. Without the lows in our life, we could never recognise the highs. Inspired aesthetically by our neighbouring Andromeda galaxy, Aifric captured available light sources with her photography, utilising this as a guide to create this collection with spray paints and stencils. Irish-born artist Dearbhla Aifric explores the powerful worlds of Light and Dark using Spray Paint and Stencil on 300GSM Recycled Paper.
